one of the best plans you can have while spending a few days in paris working is take some free time to stroll around their marvelous antiques markets in the dif. arrondissements of the city. this brocante was right at the corner of my hotel, at village st. paul in le marais. beautiful things and atmosphere. a bounch of great clothes and accessories (lots of vintage ysl rive gauche, beautiful Passementerie + embroidery and amazing antiques) i love paris et je'adore finding beautiful antique treasures over there. vive la france! et le chic du Paris ;)

friday in palm springs @ the parker, california
the rancho california style is what rocks the parker and the palm springs feeling. i feel I'm living for a few days, while staying at the parker hotel, in the inside of one of the houses featured in the original "the parent trap" film of 1961. palm springs is a really cool place, lob it.
the light in california is beautiful. like a tropical dessert sort of enlightenment. we get everyday this beautiful light strikes in our room.
what you hear in the morning are the birds and the gardeners cutting the grass.
i go to thrift stores looking for nice furniture treasures of this interior style that is here everywhere. there are so many amazing things, chairs, jars, pottery. while not, I'm hanging out at the pool... schade that we have to fly back to munich at some stage.
